If you’ve already left your heart in San Francisco, why not leave your luggage? With all the diversity that the City By The Bay has to offer, some may never want to leave the county boundaries again. If adventure is your name, let San Francisco travel be your game.

With many notable ethnic neighborhoods, a week in San Francisco can feel like a trip around the world. Start in North Beach for the Italian center of San Francisco, from Columbus and Broadway to Bay Street. Once the north coast of San Francisco, the bay’s dredging pushed the coast out, leaving some of San Francisco’s most famous hills to be inhabited. With restaurants, coffee houses, churches and delis, North Beach keeps your stomach and your soul satisfied. Looking for a trip down memory lane? Visit the Sts. Peter and Paul Church to see where Marilyn Monroe and Joe Di Maggio were married, or the City Lights Bookstore to see the home of the beatniks. Take a visit to The Beat Museum on Broadway, but navigate over to www.sfbaydiscounts.com first to make sure you’re getting the best deal on your tickets.

Travel only a few blocks further down these San Francisco roads, and you’ll find yourself down what feels like another time zone. Chinatown boasts the largest Chinese community in the world outside China. Home to the Chinese Fortune Cookie Factory and the creation of chop suey, a take-out favorite, San Francisco travel takes you to the fabulous mid-winter Chinese New Year Celebration and parade without ever boarding a plane.

For one last trip around the world, head towards the Mission District, between 16th and 24th Streets. This predominantly Latino neighborhood is home to colorful murals, Mexican bakeries and taquerias. Use San Francisco travel to visit Mission Dolores, the oldest structure in San Francisco.
